Cognex launched the '3D-A1000' Item Detection System for logistics process automation on the 3rd.

The 3D-A1000 accurately identifies the presence of objects in all types of sorters moving at production line speeds. Its embedded processing technology then provides detailed inspection of trays and objects using Cognex vision tools.

Cognex's '3D Symbolic Light™' technology, which can capture movement in a single image, is applied. Therefore, accurate 3D and 2D information can be collected without a separate encoder. It can also prevent tray hygiene issues, minimizing detection errors.

The 3D-A1000 is factory-calibrated and ready to be integrated into your system. The intuitive setup wizard allows anyone to set it up in less than 15 minutes.
