Schneider Electric Korea acquired Samhwa Engineering & Construction, which developed EOCR in 2002, and has been producing EOCR at its Iksan plant since then. On the 30th, it introduced the ZCT integrated electronic motor protection relay (Electronic Over Current Relay, EOCR) EOCRSS-400U.

EOCR is a device that protects the machine when abnormalities such as overcurrent, phase loss, and ground fault occur in the motor, and is applied not only to buildings but also to various industries that use motors such as semiconductors, battery factories, and ships.

Schneider Electric's EOCR is divided into analog and digital products, and the analog method has core functions to protect the motor and can also reasonably resolve regulatory compliance issues, he said.

'EOCRSS-400U' has improved the error rate to 5% by introducing the True RMS measurement method and can record trip history, which is a problem that occurs in motors or equipment. The combination of High (80~440A)/Low (30~120A) switches and knobs allows for precise current setting, resulting in no errors.

Additionally, there is no need for maintenance of the current transformer (CT) within the product, which is a high-current instrument transformer, and the installation area is reduced by up to 50% compared to combining CTs individually.
