Schneider Unveils Sustainable Motor Protection Solutions

Strengthening energy efficiency and operational safety to create a smart industrial environment

Schneider Electric, a global energy management and automation company, has gone beyond simple electrical protection to improve operational efficiency and enhance safety through industrial motor protection.

Schneider announced on the 28th a smart motor protection solution that can simultaneously secure energy efficiency and operational safety in industrial sites.

In industrial settings, motors are essential devices that supply power to core facilities such as production lines, heating and cooling systems, and logistics equipment.

If there is a problem with the motor, the entire process can be halted, resulting in huge cost losses.

Accordingly, stable and efficient motor protection technology is becoming a key element in extending equipment life and minimizing operational risks.

Schneider Electric has introduced 'TeSys Deca Advanced' in its flagship motor management solution, the 'TeSys' product line.

This solution goes beyond simple motor protection to become an integrated solution that takes sustainability, high efficiency, simplified maintenance and durability into account, setting a new standard in motor protection technology.

'Tesis Deca Advanced' is an Eco-optimized Contactor Platform) and supports currents of 9A to 150A AC3(e) and up to 200A AC1.

Equipped with an Electronic Wide-Range Coil, it minimizes energy consumption over the product life and provides stable performance even in high-load applications.

Reduces Scope 3 CO₂ emissions by up to 69% through eco-friendly structural design.

The EverLink™ terminal maintains stable wiring quality even after long-term use.

In terms of operational efficiency, it is expected to reduce its own power consumption by up to 80%, resulting in a power saving effect of up to 480,000 kWh for commercial buildings.

In addition, the adoption of a front wiring structure has improved installation convenience, and direct PLC control is possible to maximize customers' operational efficiency.

The solution can be widely applied in various industries such as data centers, HVAC, manufacturing, power distribution, and logistics automation, and can implement smart management functions such as real-time data collection, predictive maintenance, and energy analysis by linking with Schneider Electric's IoT-based digital platform 'EcoStruxure'.
