Siemens Digital Industries Korea showcased integrated technologies that dramatically improve the efficiency and precision of CNC programming, kicking off a full-scale manufacturing revolution.

Siemens will officially unveil 'Optimize MyProgramming/3D Scanner,' a software solution that will lead the next generation of manufacturing innovation, at EMO 2025, the world's largest metalworking exhibition.

This solution is an integrated technology that dramatically improves the efficiency and precision of CNC programming, enabling field-oriented programming based on 3D CAD, and simultaneously improving manufacturing quality and productivity.

Looking at its key features, automation-based programming automatically generates machining programs using geometric information from 3D CAD drawings, significantly reducing errors that can occur with manual input.

Fully integrated with Sinumerik Operate, the functions can be programmed directly from the CNC controller and are intuitive to use without any additional training.

Feature Scan-based 3D scanning automatically suggests optimal processing strategies after shape recognition, thereby improving both productivity and quality.

Digital twin support can also be implemented in a PC-based environment through the Run MyVirtual Machine license, enabling operation simulations identical to those of actual equipment.

This solution, part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, is attracting attention as a key technology accelerating digital innovation in the manufacturing industry.

It has proven highly effective, particularly in joint pilot tests with DMG MORI, and will be integrated as a standard option on all Sinumerik One-equipped DMG MORI machines, with full release scheduled for this fall.
