PIIE (Co-CEOs Jeong-il Choi and Hyeon-jun Kim), a company specializing in AI-based manufacturing intelligence solutions, has been officially recognized for its autonomous manufacturing technology.

PII was selected as an 'AI Factory Specialist Company' by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology Evaluation and Planning (KEIT).

The 'AI Factory Specialist Company' certification is a system designed to strengthen the domestic AI manufacturing ecosystem by discovering and fostering companies that develop and supply AI autonomous manufacturing technology. Starting this year, the scope of application has expanded beyond large-scale manufacturing sites such as automobiles and shipbuilding to include small-scale manufacturing, franchises, and the distribution and logistics industries.

PII has been leading the way in intelligent manufacturing processes by providing AI vision inspection and data-driven smart factory solutions to global manufacturing companies.

In this selection, the company received high marks in key categories such as AI autonomous manufacturing technology, supply performance, market reliability, and growth potential.

PII possesses various intelligent solutions such as AI vision inspection, AI-based ultrasonic inspection, AI agent, and data-based smart factory, and is also accelerating the development of next-generation non-destructive testing (NDT) technology.

Through this, we are simultaneously realizing the automation of the manufacturing process and improving quality.

In particular, through the 'AI+X (industry convergence)' strategy, the company is expanding its solutions beyond the secondary battery sector to various industries such as semiconductors (glass substrates, HBM), automotive, medical, and logistics.

In May, 'PIE' was established in the 2nd Pangyo Techno Valley. By establishing the 'AI R&D Campus', we are actively working to advance AI technology and cultivate specialized personnel, thereby strengthening our future competitiveness.
