Universal Robots, the world's leading collaborative robot company, is leading the automation revolution in the global pharmaceutical industry.

Universal Robots announced on the 2nd that it has signed a strategic partnership with Technicon, a leading Nordic automation company, to automate the global pharmaceutical industry.

The two companies have signed a contract to become Universal Robots' Certified Solution Partner (CSP) and will jointly develop and supply collaborative robot-based automation solutions optimized for complex manufacturing processes in the pharmaceutical industry.

Technikon is an engineering company that has been distributing and integrating Universal Robots in Denmark since 2019. It is an automation specialist with in-house design, development, and production capabilities.

Through this CSP agreement, Technikon will provide innovative solutions integrating Universal Robots' flexible and safe collaborative robots across the life sciences value chain, including filling and finishing line optimization, laboratory quality control, and packaging and assembly processes.

With this agreement, Technikon plans to continue expanding its supply of collaborative robots to solve complex production challenges not only in the global pharmaceutical industry but also across various industries in Denmark.
