Unity, the global interactive platform, has launched a full-scale digital twin technology innovation across industries.

On the 26th, Unity held 'U DAY Seoul: Industry' at the Korea Science and Technology Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

This event, themed "Transform Your Business, Powered by Unity: The Beginning of Business Innovation with Unity," will share insights and Unity-based digital twin technology applicable to various industries.

The event was attended by major domestic companies in the automotive, manufacturing, logistics, nuclear fusion, and medical fields, and a total of eight expert sessions and 14 demo booths provided practical technical exchanges.

This event received such high interest that pre-registration closed early that session presentation videos will also be provided through a first-come, first-served event.

In the first session, Unity Senior Solutions Engineer Youngjae Jeon introduced Unity Industries' core solutions and technical support services, presenting use cases in the automotive, construction, commerce, and healthcare sectors.

Next, SK AX Manager Kang Cheol-gyu presented the case of 'HBM-only Stack Map PoC that converted 2D Map to 3D Map'.Metanet Digital Director Nam-il Kim shared a case study of manufacturing AI-based on-site optimization using the 'MetaFactory' platform.

Ian Co., Ltd. Vice President Cho Kyu-min presented on the topic of 'Industrial AI-Digital Twin Platform Inside Out', highlighting advanced AI technology in Unity-based 3D spatial computing and XR environments.

Tritech's Senior Researcher Lee Cho-gang highlighted the scalability of Unity technology by introducing a case study on the development of a virtual digital twin platform for nuclear fusion simulation, plasma visualization, and data tracking.

Daim Research demonstrated its physical AI-based logistics robot control system and its self-developed DES simulation solution, while Megazone Cloud presented demos of digital twin projects in various industrial fields, including logistics warehouses, construction sites, and yacht simulations.

A Raspberry Pi 5-based robot control demo and an experience of the core functions of Unity Asset Manager were also provided, which received a great response from participants.

Unity Korea CEO Song Min-seok said, “This event is a place for Unity and our customers to design the future of the industry together and share strategies to lead global standards,” and added, “We will continue our journey of innovation by working closely with our customers and partners.”
