Acquired KOITA accreditation, promoting the advancement of digital twin-based data generation technology
Sky Intelligence is establishing a corporate research institute and expanding research in the field of industrial artificial intelligence training data.
Sky Intelligence announced on April 29 that it received approval from the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA) to establish a corporate research institute. With this, the company will operate an organization dedicated to developing technology for generating AI training data used in industrial environments.
This company has been developing technology that utilizes digital twin technology to implement actual processes and equipment in a virtual environment and generate artificial intelligence training data based on this. In particular, it is building a structure that links the process of converting real-world data into a virtual environment with the technology of applying data generated in the virtual environment to the actual environment.
The related technology is implemented based on NVIDIA's Omniverse platform, and the company has utilized it to refine a data generation system aimed at industrial application. In fact, Sky Intelligence is confirmed to be a company included in NVIDIA's official partner program.
Previously, the company announced a case study on digital twin-based data generation at InfoComm China 2026, held in Beijing, China, in April 2026. The presentation at the time introduced the technical structure focusing on the linkage between data generation using virtual environments and actual industrial applications.
The establishment of this research institute is interpreted as a strategy to expand the scope of technology beyond existing content creation-centric utilization to the acquisition of industrial data and application areas. The company plans to secure research personnel and expand joint research with universities and companies in the future.
