TÜV SÜD Korea, a global testing and certification organization, continued its social contribution activities by participating in an integrated sports event where visually impaired and non-visually impaired individuals participated together.

TÜV SÜD Korea announced on the 13th that it participated in the '12th Harmony Marathon with the Visually Impaired' held at the Peace Plaza in Sangam World Cup Park, Seoul.

This event is held annually with the aim of expanding social participation for the visually impaired and improving disability awareness, and is a representative inclusive sports program in which people with and without disabilities participate together.

At this event, employees of TÜV SÜD Korea participated as guide walkers to help visually impaired participants safely complete the course. Participants walked the 5km course together and had time to interact directly on-site.

The company sponsored 1,000 sports towels to support the event. It supported the operation of the event by combining on-site participation and material support.

This activity went beyond simple sponsorship and was conducted in a way that involved direct participation by employees. The company explained that this served as an opportunity to share the meaning of realizing social values, going beyond communication and experiences with participants with disabilities.

TÜV SÜD Korea announced that it has consistently participated in the event as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and plans to continue various social contribution programs in the future.
