Siemens Korea Presents Future Manufacturing Innovation Directions for the Battery Industry

'Siemens Battery Conference 2026' Successfully Concluded

Siemens Digital Industries (DI) Korea shared its manufacturing innovation strategy through digital transformation amidst the rapidly changing global battery market, through a specialized event discussing ways to strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic battery manufacturing and equipment industries.

Siemens Korea (CEO and President Ha-Jung Jeong) held the 'Siemens Battery Conference 2026' at Lotte Hotel Seoul on the 16th.

This event was the first offline event organized by Siemens Korea for customers in the domestic battery industry, and was attended by Siemens Global and domestic and international industry experts, as well as stakeholders from the battery manufacturing and equipment sectors. The participants discussed the future direction of the industry and manufacturing innovation strategies based on digital transformation.

The event covered changes in the global battery market, the latest equipment technology trends, and sustainable growth strategies.

Along with the battery passport regulations required for export to Europe, manufacturing innovation technologies such as digital twin, OT/IT integration, generative AI, and predictive maintenance were also introduced.

In addition, specialized solutions for battery equipment and real-world application cases were shared, and digital transformation strategies, productivity improvement, and quality innovation measures for the battery manufacturing industry were discussed.

Seo Mi-young, Managing Director of Industrial Sales for Siemens DI Korea, said, "The battery industry is a key industry leading the era of energy transition and electrification, and digitalization and data-driven decision-making capabilities are crucial for securing global competitiveness." She added, "Siemens DI Korea will continue to support the innovation and strengthening of competitiveness in the domestic battery industry based on digital twin, AI, and automation technologies."

Siemens Korea's DI division announced that it plans to contribute to the digital transformation of the domestic manufacturing industry and the strengthening of its global competitiveness by sharing digital transformation strategies by manufacturing industry and domestic and international manufacturing innovation cases with customers.
