Innovation Day held, 7 presentation sessions and demo tour operated
Schneider Electric Korea held an event to share application methods for AI-based power and automation technologies with the semiconductor and equipment manufacturing industries. The event was organized to discuss strategies for securing power stability, improving operational efficiency, and digital transformation, amidst rising power demand and changing operating environments driven by the spread of AI technology and the advancement of cutting-edge processes.

Schneider Electric Korea (CEO Ji-Woong Kwon) announced that it held 'Innovation Day: EcoStruxure for Semiconductor 2026' at the Suwon Convention Center on the 23rd. Held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. under the theme of 'Presenting the Future Direction of the Semiconductor Industry through AI-Based Innovation,' the event consisted of seven presentation sessions and a demo tour. About 150 industry representatives, including semiconductor and equipment manufacturers, attended.

The presentation session began with global semiconductor industry trends in 2026 and application cases from Schneider Electric, followed by introductions to digital twin-based smart power management, UPS power infrastructure strategies, digital circuit breaker utilization methods, and AI-based predictive maintenance technology.

The company explained that digital twin operation optimization solutions and data-based predictive maintenance technology, designed to respond to increased power demand driven by the spread of AI, have presented a new operational direction for the semiconductor manufacturing environment.

The 'Innovation Hub Demo Tour' was conducted under two themes.

The 'Non-stop Fab Operations' tour for semiconductor manufacturers covered power infrastructure and distribution strategies, while the 'AI-based Automation and Smart Equipment Build' tour for equipment manufacturers (OEMs) covered machine intelligence and integrated automation solutions.

Along with this, demonstrations of technologies specialized for the semiconductor industry, such as PME (EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert), 3-phase UPS, Trihal, MC12 Machine, and ESS, were also exhibited.

CEO Kwon Ji-woong stated, “This Innovation Day was an opportunity to explore the future direction of the semiconductor industry together through AI-based power and automation technologies,” adding, “We will continue to provide power and automation solutions optimized for manufacturing sites.”
