Keysight Receives OmniAir Qualified Test Equipment Certification
Onboard, roadside equipment C-V2X validation safety improvements


Keysight Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has become the first in the industry to receive OmniAir Qualified Test Equipment (OQTE) qualification from the OmniAir Consortium®, an industry association that promotes interoperability and certification for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Keysight can now accelerate C-V2X device certification.

Keysight's 'SA8700A' C-V2X test solution has received physical layer (PHY) and protocol conformance approval based on OmniAir's test specifications. With access to a full range of test cases across physical, protocol, transport and application layers, onboard (OBU) and roadside unit (RSU) vendors can validate the C-V2X technology used in their designs.

Vendors, test organizations, and transportation authorities can leverage the solution to verify C-V2X interoperability, performance, and compliance with 3GPP specifications to improve road safety.

The OmniAir Certification Program evaluates and verifies test equipment and accredits test laboratories. Keysight's solution is the only qualified OQTE certification test solution that supports physical and protocol layer test cases, enabling comprehensive C-V2X certification testing in OmniAir's approved test laboratories (OATLs).
