The Korea Automotive Research Institute (President Jin Jong-wook) has established a forum for exchange to develop end-to-end (E2E) AI-based autonomous driving technology and strengthen its ecosystem.

On the 16th, Hanjayeon held the 21st Jasan Eobo event at the COEX Startup Branch in Gangnam, Seoul, with the theme of 'AI Autonomous Driving | The Key to SDV Innovation, Current Status of End-to-End AI-Based Autonomous Driving.'

The Asset Management Conference, short for "Embracing and Supporting the Automotive Industry," is a networking event where mobility industry professionals regularly meet to share information and promote collaboration.

This event was attended by approximately 120 people, including representatives from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, automakers and parts manufacturers, investors, and academia, who looked into the present and future of AI autonomous driving technology.

The event began with a welcoming speech by Director Jin Jong-wook, followed by presentations by Professor Choi Jun-won of Seoul National University on the success strategy of domestic E2E autonomous driving technology, Director Kwak Su-jin of Hanjayeon on API standard trends for securing the SDV ecosystem, Managing Director Park Jin-young of Murex Partners on AI mobility venture investment trends 2025, and leading companies such as Autonomous A2Z and HL Clemov.

In particular, the 'Big Data/SDV Research Center' of the AI/Autonomous Driving Technology Research Institute under Hanjayeon operated a technology consulting booth and shared the achievements of autonomous driving technology.Innovative companies such as Go, Obigo, Autonomous A2Z, and SWM also sought opportunities for cooperation through promotional booths.

President Jin Jong-wook emphasized, “AI autonomous driving is a core technology of the ‘AI transformation’ promoted by the government and the key to realizing SDV innovation,” and added, “We will do our best to strengthen autonomous driving technology capabilities and ecosystem through organic cooperation across industries and ensure that the automobile industry plays a central role in Korea’s leap forward as one of the top three AI powerhouses.”
