The Busan Mobility Show concluded its 10-day schedule, showcasing future automobiles, Urban Air Mobility (UAM), robots, and leisure mobility. It attempted to transform into a future mobility festival by expanding the event space beyond the exhibition hall into the city center.

The '2026 Busan Mobility Show' concluded on the 5th. Held under the theme 'Opening the Way to Tomorrow,' the event took place from June 26 to July 5, centered at BEXCO in Busan.

Eight automakers, including Hyundai Motor, Kia, Genesis, BMW, MINI, and BYD, participated in this event and unveiled new cars and future mobility technologies.

Visitors were able to directly experience each brand's technology through vehicle rides and experience programs. The city of Busan explained that interest in the brands participating for the first time this year also continued.

In addition to automobiles, UAM, electric airplanes, yachts, sports and leisure mobility, and campervans were on display. Visitors had the opportunity to experience future modes of transportation by trying out various modes of transport firsthand.

Eco-friendly camping cars, humanoid robots, smart factory solutions, and logistics automation technologies were introduced at the concurrently held Korea Camping Car Show, Robot Expo, Auto Manufact, and Big Tech Show.

A key feature of this event is that it has expanded its scope to include urban spaces, moving beyond exhibition-centered operations.

The special urban exhibition halls established at Domohun and Gunam-ro in Haeundae were operated as spaces where citizens and tourists could experience mobility technology in their daily lives. Exhibition content utilizing the beach and urban spaces was also prepared.

During the event, Busan City, the police, and the fire department collaborated to operate a safety management system, and Busan City announced that the event concluded without any safety accidents.

Busan Mayor Jeon Jae-soo said, “This Busan Mobility Show was an event that presented a vision for the future mobility industry,” adding, “We will strive to grow it into a global mobility festival representing Korea.”
