Domestic AI semiconductor company Furiosa AI (CEO Baek Jun-ho) demonstrated GPT-OSS at the opening ceremony of OpenAI Korea, kicking off full-scale cooperation in the era of general artificial intelligence (AGI).

FuriosaAI was invited to the OpenAI Korea opening ceremony and successfully demonstrated the GPT-OSS 120B model using its high-performance AI chip, RNGD.

This demonstration was held with the attendance of approximately 300 domestic and international AI industry officials, and Furiosa AI was the only AI infrastructure company selected to participate in the demonstration, proving its technological prowess.

Furiosa AI attracted attention by running a GPT-OSS 120B-based chatbot in real time using only two of its second-generation AI semiconductors, RNGD.

GPT-OSS 120B is a world-class open-source foundation model released by OpenAI. It features a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) structure that simultaneously implements performance and power efficiency.

This demonstration showcases FuriosaAI's technological capabilities to efficiently operate ultra-large language models, and is being evaluated as an alternative to addressing power consumption and cost issues that arise when operating AI models.
