Live demonstration at booth 37, COEX Grand Ballroom
Rainbow Robotics (CEO Lee Jeong-ho), a robot platform specialist, has established a venue to demonstrate the differentiated competitiveness of domestic collaborative robot technology.
Rainbow Robotics will demonstrate for the first time its dual-arm robot-based automotive headlamp assembly automation solution, jointly developed with AI autonomous robot software company PLAiF, at the International Robotics Conference CoRL 2025 and Humanoids 2025, to be held at COEX in Seoul from September 27 to October 2.
This solution features a combination of sensory AI and a learning system that enables the robot to perform complex tasks through bimanual coordination and correct external environmental changes and robot errors in real time.
Existing industrial robots relied on separate jigs or additional devices for complex parallel tasks, and had limitations in that work would be halted when errors occurred.
In contrast, Rainbow Robotics' solution enables the robot itself to handle minute errors and continue working flexibly, ensuring high precision and adaptability even in difficult assembly processes such as fastening vehicle headlamp connectors and dust covers.
The technology is based on Flyleaf's AI dual-arm robot solution 'OASIS' and Physical AI software 'AiSA'.
OASIS is a robot that implements two RB series collaborative robots from Rainbow Robotics into a robot capable of two-handed collaboration like a human, and inserts a connector. It enables parallel operation of fastening the dust cover and the screw at the same time.
AiSA is a hybrid control system that can be transferred and expanded to various assembly and fastening processes with minimal learning and fine-tuning, supporting rapid field adoption and flexible task transitions.
This solution, which combines Rainbow Robotics' stable collaborative robot platform and Flyleaf's AI technology, has various functions such as △micro-unit control △complex parts manipulation △high-quality vision recognition △response to diverse work environments.
It can be applied to various manufacturing processes, including not only the automotive industry but also electronics and home appliances, and is expected to reduce initial setup and reprogramming costs by up to 80%.
Rainbow Robotics CEO Lee Jeong-ho said, “The dual-arm robot solution combined with high-precision Physical AI is an innovative technology that will change the paradigm of the manufacturing field,” and added, “We will lead the global manufacturing automation market with this solution that can automate complex assembly processes even in environments with many variables.”
The solution will be demonstrated live at Booth 37 in the COEX Grand Ballroom during CoRL & Humanoids 2025.
