AX-based Digital Factory Design Technology Seminar, August 27th, COEX
Global electronics components distributor Mouser Electronics is highlighting technology trends that will further enhance the competitiveness of domestic manufacturing sites amidst the digital transformation and AI-driven manufacturing innovation.
Mouser will host a seminar titled “Design Technology for Building Digital Factories Based on Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX)” on August 27th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Conference Room 327, COEX, Samseong-dong.
This event will share the latest insights for implementing smart manufacturing and digital transformation.
“AI technology is transforming the manufacturing landscape,” said Deftie Tien, vice president of marketing for Asia Pacific at Mouser Electronics. “We will provide practical design techniques and solutions to help Korean manufacturers accelerate their transition to smart factories.”
The seminar consists of two keynote speeches and three partner sessions.
First, Professor Youngjae Jang of the KAIST Department of Computer Science will give a lecture on the topic of 'Automatic design of manufacturing plants and realization of robot operation logic using physical AI.'
Next, Kang Bong-gu, a senior researcher at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, will explain the current status of leading projects for implementing AI autonomous manufacturing, focusing on case studies.
In the partner session Analog Devices will present sensor fusion and edge computing solutions, Würth Electronics will present power management module design techniques, and Microchip Technology will present industrial microcontrollers and communication solutions.
After each presentation, there will be a Q&A session where practitioners can discuss application strategies.
Mouser Electronics said, “This is an opportunity to learn all about the hardware and software integrated design know-how required to build a digital factory in one place,” and added, “It will be a valuable opportunity for engineers, research institutes, and production managers preparing for AI-based smart manufacturing.”
All seminar participants will be entered into a raffle for a variety of prizes, including a Galaxy Watch7, premium noise-canceling headphones, and an industrial IoT starter kit. Pre-registration is available on the Mouser Electronics website (https://www.mouser.kr/digital-factory-seminar/).
