On the 16th, Xilinx, together with Supermicro, Cortical, and Boston, announced a solution based on its 'Alveo Data Center Accelerator Card' at the 'Xilinx Developer Forum (XDF) Europe 2019'.
Alveo accelerator cards can boost performance and reduce latency for data center applications such as real-time AI inference and video transcoding.
Supermicro has introduced two Alveo-based systems, the Supermicro DP Ultra and the Supermicro UP 1U. Both systems are currently available worldwide.

Cortical has announced an email classification product designed to perform natural language processing. The yet-to-be-named product, built on Supermicro servers and Alveo accelerator cards, will perform real-time filtering and classification of incoming and outgoing emails, as well as configurable action-based triggering. The product is expected to be available in the first quarter of next year.
Boston said it is working with Xilinx partner V-Nova on servers and Alveo accelerator cards from Supermicro. Additionally, we launched Boston Stream+, an ultra-high-density video streaming solution.

The Boston Stream+ can be used for live 4K P60 encoding. It is available for purchase now and can be used for PoC (Proof of Concept) testing.
