With a single MWCT controller
Wireless charging for 2 devices simultaneously


A solution has been developed that allows two smartphones to be charged simultaneously with one wireless charger in a vehicle.

NXP Semiconductors today announced the MWCT2xx3A 15W wireless charging transmitter IC family, a multi-device wireless charging solution for vehicles driven by a single MWCT controller. Consoles equipped with ICs belonging to this family can simultaneously charge up to two Qi-certified devices from Samsung Electronics, Xiaomi, Apple, Huawei, and others.

The MWCT2xx3A family, certified to the latest WPC Qi v1.2.4, is powered by a hybrid DSC core with dedicated peripherals capable of running two Qi protocols in parallel on a single MWCT controller. NXP has also enhanced the electromagnetic compatibility required for CISPR 25 Class 5 for 15W systems with CEMC (Clean EMC) technology.
