Mouser to Supply Qorvo DWM3000 RF Module

Pin and size compatible with DWM1000 RF module


Mouser announced on the 29th that it is now stocking Qorvo’s ‘ DWM3000 ’ RF module. Compliant with IEEE 802.15.4a and IEEE 802.15.4z BPRF modes, it recognizes and tracks the location of objects with 10cm precision. It supports data rates of 850kbps and 6.8Mbps, and supports global UWB with ultra-wideband (UWB) channel 5 (6.5GHz) and channel 9 (8GHz).

The DWM3000 module supports Time-of-Flight (ToF) and Time-Difference-of-Arrival (TDoA) positioning systems to enhance the performance of navigation and tracking applications. It is available in a 24-pin, 23×13×2.9mm package and is pin-count and dimensionally compatible with Qorvo’s ‘DWM1000’ RF module for UWB Channel 5 operation.

High design flexibility allows for easy integration with various MCUs. Hardware and software support materials that simplify design and development are provided by Kobo. The DWM3000 module is optimized for extended battery life and is suitable for healthcare, agriculture, safety and security.
