Mouser to Supply TDK InvenSense Industrial IMUs

Mouser Electronics, Inc. today announced it is now stocking the SmartIndustrial ™ family of sensors from TDK Group's Invensense.

Mouser Electronics' SmartIndustrial portfolio includes the IIM-42351, IIM-42352, and IIM-42652 sensors. These three ultra-low-noise, 3-axis accelerometers are housed in a compact 2.5 × 3 × 0.91 mm 14-pin LGA package and offer a digital output programming range of up to ±16 g.

The IIM-42351 accelerometer enables precise tilt detection in industrial and IoT devices such as robotic arms, AGVs, utility poles, and cameras. The IIM-42352 accelerometer can measure vibration frequencies up to 4 kHz, enabling predictive maintenance of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and compressors, identifying failures before they occur.

The IIM-42652 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) is the smallest, most cost-effective, and lowest power member of the SmartIndustrial family. It also includes a digital output 3-axis gyroscope with a programmable range from ±15.625°/sec to ±2000°/sec. With an extended operating temperature range of up to 105°C, engineers can design a wide range of industrial IoT applications, including navigation and stabilization of industrial machinery and robots.

The IIM-46230 and IIM-46234 6-axis MotionTracking® devices, available from Mouser, provide simple, rugged, and precise inertial measurement capabilities for industrial applications. The devices include built-in redundancy and early warning features, including the proprietary TDK SensorFT™ error tolerance feature.

The IIM-42351/2 and IIM-42652 evaluation and development kits are also available from Mouser. Each evaluation kit provides a fully assembled and tested evaluation board that can be used as a standalone board or connected to the corresponding development kit. The development kits provide the hardware to evaluate the SmartIndustrial sensor and all necessary software.
