Global advanced ceramics manufacturer Coorstec Korea is seeking to hire new, talented individuals who will play a leading role in advanced ceramic technology, the root of the world's fourth industrial revolution.
Coorstec Korea recently announced that it is publicly recruiting personnel (new and experienced) for the production of fine ceramic parts.
The recruitment positions are divided into four categories: ceramic machining (new and experienced), environmental safety (EHS), etc.
The recruitment process consists of document screening and interview.
Applications for employment will be accepted through recruitment websites such as Saramin until the 30th.
In the case of machine processing, since recruitment is conducted year-round for various positions, you can apply for various positions regardless of the deadline.
To meet the rapidly increasing demand for semiconductors, Coorstec Korea is actively recruiting new employees to work at its 16,000㎡ site in the Gumi Foreign Investment Zone.
The expansion of Gumi Plant 2 in 2020 is a response to the surge in demand for advanced ceramics and the expansion of production of semiconductor equipment parts.
A representative of Coorstech Korea said, “We are in office with the vision of making the world measurably better.“We provide various welfare benefits to increase employee satisfaction,” he said. “The representative benefits include an in-house basketball court, table tennis court, work-life balance room, fun events for employees, comprehensive health checkups for employees over 35, provision of dormitories and commuter buses, tuition support for children attending kindergarten, high school, and university, incentives/productivity bonuses/holiday bonuses, and provision of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For office workers, the flexible work system is considered an advantage.”
Meanwhile, Coorstec Korea is a 100% foreign-invested company that has secured major domestic and international semiconductor companies as its customers since its establishment in 2000 and has continued to grow rapidly. Its main product, advanced ceramics, is a key material for the materials, parts, and equipment (SME) industry. As it is a component that is used in large quantities in the process of semiconductor equipment, the demand for ceramic components is increasing as fabs are expanded.
The parent company, Coorstec, is a 5th generation American Coors family company that started out in traditional ceramics and grew into a global company that produces advanced ceramics. The company boasts a 110-year tradition and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, USA. It has approximately 6,000 employees in over 50 countries around the world, spanning Europe and Asia. It operates the Korean headquarters and two factories in Gumi, Gyeongbuk.
