“Refrigerator and TV with AI brain”… Will Samsung Electronics install LLM in home appliances?
Published2024.06.21 11:29According to industry reports, Samsung Electronics aims to launch home appliances incorporating on-device LLM (large language model) in 2025. On-device AI applied to home appliances offers advantages in fast performance and enhanced security, as data processing is conducted on the device itself. Samsung Electronics is expected to introduce a lightweight AI model based on LLM to Bixby voice support for controlling home appliances, with deployment projected for July of this year.
