Dell AI Factory Provides High-Performance AI Accelerators, Accelerating Enterprise AI Adoption
Intel Gaudi 3 will be installed in Dell's AI factory, and is expected to accelerate the adoption of AI by companies.
Intel recently collaborated with Dell to unveil the Dell AI Platform with Intel, featuring the Intel® Gaudi® 3 AI accelerator in the latest Dell AI Factory portfolio.
This integrated solution is designed to make it easier to introduce, integrate, and expand AI technology, and is expected to accelerate companies’ transition to AI.
The Dell AI Platform combines Intel Gaudi 3 hardware and open source software to provide the optimal environment to maximize the use of AI in various industries.
It meets the core requirements of AI, from large-scale language models (LLMs) to edge inference, and is evaluated as an AI acceleration solution with competitive price-to-performance ratio.
“Working with Dell to bring the powerful performance of Intel Gaudi 3 to enterprise deployments in an integrated solution that’s ready to go,” said Saurabh Kulkarni, Intel’s data center AI strategy and products manager.
At the center of this AI platformThe PowerEdge XE9680 is located here.
Key features include: △Eight Intel Gaudi 3 accelerators (providing 128GB HBM and 3.7TB/s bandwidth), △5th generation Intel® Xeon® processor (up to 64 cores, supports PCIe Gen 5), △Expandable storage and networking (32 DIMM slots, supports 800GbE), △Energy-efficient air-cooled system (optimized for large-scale AI workloads), △Developer optimization and simplified management, etc.
The Dell AI Platform provides an open source software stack leveraging PyTorch, Hugging Face, and Kubernetes, simplifying AI model optimization.
Additionally, the Dell Enterprise Hub provides a catalog of models optimized for Intel Gaudi 3 to help developers quickly implement.
“Today’s enterprises require scalable, open and efficient AI solutions,” said Varun Chhabra, vice president of Dell, emphasizing that the Intel-based Dell AI Platform will provide an infrastructure that can continuously scale as the enterprise grows.
