BIDOS® P3435 Q BELAGO 1.2 Dot Projector BIDOS® P2433 Q Floodlight
ams OSRAM, a global leader in intelligent sensors and light sources, has launched two new IR laser sources based on Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) technology.
Optimized for advanced 3D sensor applications such as industrial robotics, facial recognition, object detection, and machine vision, these products support more precise sensing technologies and provide enhanced data collection and analysis capabilities in a variety of environments.
BIDOS® P3435 Q BELAGO 1.2 emits light at a wavelength of 940 nm and is optimized for Active Stereo Vision (ASV) and Structured Light (SL) based 3D sensing applications. It forms 15,000 individual dot patterns to easily process depth map calculations, which is useful for robots or unmanned vehicle systems to detect and avoid obstacles in real time.
BELAGO 1.2 has a compact design measuring 4.2mm x 3.6mm x 3.3mm to maximize space efficiency, and its robust housing and advanced optical components ensure stable performance under a variety of lighting conditions.
The BIDOS® P2433 Q, V105Q121A-850 flood illuminator is a packaged VCSEL for 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensing applications, ensuring uniform illumination to improve sensor accuracy. With a size of 3.3 mm x 2.4 mm x 1.2 mm, it is space efficient and can implement eye protection mechanisms by utilizing the built-in photodiode.
In particular, the newly added 850nm model provides higher sensitivity when applied to cameras and maximizes the accuracy of 3D sensing with improved precision.
ams OSRAM’s near-infrared (NIR) VCSELs are a key technology in the fast-growing 3D sensor technology market. They are optimized for demanding applications in automotive, industrial, mobile and wearable markets due to their superior beam quality, cost efficiency and design simplicity.
