Vector Korea (CEO Ji-Hwan Jang), a global company in the field of vehicle network and embedded system development, has started to maximize the productivity of embedded developers through the latest version of CANoe, its representative test and simulation solution for developers of embedded systems in electric vehicles, medical, aviation, and industrial fields.

Vector Korea announced on the 5th that it has officially released 'CANoe 19', its latest test and simulation solution.

This release focuses on maximizing the productivity of embedded system developers by adding new features such as Data Distributed Service (DDS) support, a new Electric Motor Model Option, and a dedicated medical engineering edition (CANoe MedTech).

CANoe 19 supports both Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, allowing embedded software to be tested in a virtual environment without hardware.

This allows for precise analysis and testing of ECUs (electronic control units) and entire networks, even on prototype hardware and in cloud-based environments.

Key features and improvements include: D for efficient data transfer across distributed systemsAdded Internet protocol-based connectivity options that enhance DS functionality and interoperability with IoT and autonomous vehicles.

It also supports more precise simulation of the operation of electric motor ECUs in HIL test environments, and is designed to secure reliability and data accuracy by introducing the CANoe MedTech product family specialized in medical device development.

Here, a dashboard-based desktop configuration is introduced to provide a more intuitive user experience, usability is improved with a revamp of the bus statistics, signal generator, and replay block UI, and support for OBDonUDS (vehicle diagnostic service) is strengthened.

Additionally, new capabilities for integrated simulation of complex systems are available to support more precise testing.

CANoe 19 enhances the AUTOSAR Viewer functionality, allowing visual inspection of key transport protocols and network management elements such as CAN, FlexRay, and LIN. New system topology and filter views have been introduced, allowing developers to see the relationships between components at a glance.
