SU10P, SU25P, SU35P, Vivado Design Suite 2025.1 support begins
AMD officially announced the first production shipments of its Spartan™ UltraScale+™ FPGA family featuring high I/O, low power, and next-generation security features.
The three compact devices launched this time, SU10P, SU25P, and SU35P, have been available for sale since the 17th and are fully supported by AMD Vivado™ Design Suite 2025.1.
Spartan UltraScale+ FPGAs are the latest in a cost-optimized portfolio designed for cost-sensitive edge applications.
It builds on the performance-low power balance and long product life cycle of the existing UltraScale+ architecture and delivers the highest I/O-to-logic cell ratio in its class through HDIO (3.3VI/O) and XP5IO high-speed interfaces.
It maximizes design flexibility by providing the latest connectivity such as PCIe® Gen4 hard IP, octal SPI, LPDDR4X/5 memory controller (4266Mb/s), and MIPI D-PHY 3.2Gb/s.
In terms of security, the device configuration and data access security are enhanced through a dedicated cryptographic module including TRNG, PUF, and hash functions, equipped with NIST-approved post-quantum cryptographic hard IP..
AMD said, “Spartan UltraScale+ FPGAs are cost-optimized yet combine industry-leading security solutions with high-speed interfaces, making them the optimal choice for edge device designers.”
Design productivity has also been significantly improved.
Vivado Design Suite 2025.1 enables immediate design completion in a board control/I/O expansion environment (up to 150 MHz clock) with support for over 160 AMD FPGAs and SoCs, push-button timing closure, and fast debug tools.
For high-speed (>200MHz) applications such as machine vision, industrial, and medical, it provides speed grades up to two levels faster than competitive products, shortening design cycles.
With this first production shipment, the SU10P, SU25P, and SU35P devices will enter the supply chain immediately, and AMD plans to enhance promotional and technical support for customers worldwide.
