Texas Instruments (TI) has once again proven its status as a key partner to automakers by winning the Volkswagen Group Award.

TI announced on the 16th that it won the 'Operational Excellence' Award at the 'Volkswagen Group Awards 2025' recently held in Wolfsburg, Germany.

This award is a recognition of TI's robust semiconductor supply strategy and proactive investment to expand production capacity.

TI has focused on developing technologies and strengthening production infrastructure for the automotive industry for many years, and as a result, has established itself as a key partner to automakers.

Today's vehicles are equipped with thousands of semiconductors, which play a key role in a variety of areas, including engine control, advanced safety systems, and infotainment functions.

TI has built a broad portfolio of automotive semiconductors to meet these industry trends and is supporting next-generation vehicle innovations with stable, long-term supply capabilities.

The Volkswagen Group plans to launch more than 30 new models across regions, brands, and platforms by 2025, and has therefore made establishing a stable supply chain for semiconductors an essential task.

He emphasized that close collaboration with strategic partners, especially TI, is key to ensuring efficiency and reliability.
