Targeting offline markets with premium, gaming, and AI tablets
Lenovo Korea has expanded its tablet sales channels to offline, allowing its products to be found in major hypermarkets. It has greatly increased consumer accessibility by allowing purchases not only from online shopping malls but also from offline stores across the country.
The flagship model included in this sales expansion is Lenovo's premium flagship tablet, the 'Idea Tab Pro'.
This product provides a smart learning environment with AI features such as Circle to Search and Google Gemini, and boasts powerful performance with a 12.7-inch 3K display and MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset.
Lenovo Korea has established a strategy to strengthen its position in the domestic offline market and expand consumer contact points by expanding the number of large marts that supply its products. Currently, Lenovo tablets are sold at 150 No Brand stores, 23 Traders stores, 3 Electromart stores, all Hi-Mart stores, 17 Costco stores, Yongsan Electronics Shopping Mall, etc., and can also be purchased at major online shopping malls such as Coupang, Naver Shopping, and Gmarket.
In particular, the warehouse-style large mart opening in Pyeongtaek on June 12 will feature a pop-up space where consumers can experience the 'Yoga Tab' directly, providing a more differentiated tablet experience.
Lenovo provides Premium Care Service and Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) service free of charge for one year for the convenience of consumers. This allows free repairs even if the tablet is damaged due to the user's negligence, and professional engineers provide support 24/7 via phone, email, chat, etc.
Lenovo Korea CEO Shin Gyu-sik said, “By entering large marts nationwide, a wider range of customers can now experience Lenovo’s premium products up close and in person,” and “We will continue to actively expand offline sales channels so that more consumers can easily access our products and services.”
Consumers can directly check out and purchase a variety of lineups, including the Idea Tab Pro, the gaming-specific tablet 'LegionTab Y700 3rd Generation', the on-device AI tablet 'Yoga Tab Plus AI', and the popular Android tablet 'Tab M Series', at offline stores.
Meanwhile, Lenovo Korea has been recording steady increases in market share and achieved the top spot in foreign brand market share in the Android consumer tablet market in the fourth quarter of last year.
