Dell Technologies held the Dell AI Factory Media Briefing on the 17th.

Executive Director Cho Yong-no, who was in charge of the presentation, said that AI has now gone beyond simple technology demonstrations and entered a stage where AI is applied to actual work, and he focused on enterprise AI, recognizing the limitations of the public cloud and emphasizing the transition to an on-premises environment.

“This is a strategic direction chosen by companies in terms of the importance of data, security, and performance optimization,” said Executive Director Cho Yong-no. “AI operates based on accurate data. “If you give the wrong answer, users will no longer trust AI,” he said, emphasizing the importance of data quality.

Accordingly, Dell is fully operating the 'Dell AI Factory' to support customers in building AI within their data centers.

Dell AI Factory provides an end-to-end portfolio, from hardware infrastructure to software solutions and services.

In this regard, Executive Director Cho Yong-no introduced Dell's GPU server portfolio in detail.

In particular, the PowerEdge XE9680 series, the best-selling model, is a server optimized for high-performance AI workloads and supports both air-cooling (Air) and liquid-cooling (DLC) methods.

This server is equipped with NVIDIA's latest GPUs and AMD or Intel-based CPUs, making it suitable for training and inferring various AI models.

Dell also offers a range of GPU servers under the name AI-Optimized Servers, designed to be customizable to suit customer environments.

In addition to the XE9680, high-performance models such as the XE9680L, XE9785, and XE9785L are included, and these products support air-cooling capacity of up to 80kW, making them suitable for high-density AI and HPC environments.

Dell is expanding its AI ecosystem not only through its own technology but also through collaborations with global partners. Through its collaboration with NVIDIA, Dell operates the "Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA," providing integrated solutions encompassing GPU servers, software platforms, and networking fabrics.

We also support our customers' AI workflows by leveraging various technologies, including Google Cloud's Gemini, Meta's Rama3, AMD Instinct GPU, and Dell AI Data Platform. In particular, Dell Project Lightning is the world's fastest parallel file system, providing outstanding performance for large-scale data processing.

Dell has released more than 200 products and features and secured more than 3,000 customer cases over the past year.
