Additionally, key figures in Korea, including Dr. Ha Jung-woo, Senior Secretary for AI Future Planning at the Blue House, and Dr. Ahn Jae-seok of KT Cloud, will participate as speakers to highlight the intersection of Korea's digital strategy and open source.

In addition, global companies such as LG, Samsung, Boeing, Red Hat, Amazon, and Microsoft have openA large number of source experts will attend, providing a venue for technical exchange and collaboration.

OSS Korea is not limited to a standalone event, but will also hold two special sessions simultaneously.

OpenSearchCon Korea is the OpenSearch community's first offline event in Korea, fostering collaboration between users and developers by focusing on real-world application cases in search, observability, and security applications.

OpenSSF Community Day Korea is a community-driven event dedicated to strengthening open source security, sharing ideas for building sustainable security systems for core software used across industries.

Registration for OSS Korea and concurrent events is currently underway. Discounts are available for academia, public institutions, small businesses, and hobby developers. Linux Foundation members receive a 20% discount on registration fees.

“Korea has a world-leading technology ecosystem in electronics, mobile, and AI,” said Jim Zemlin, chairman of the Linux Foundation. “This summit will be an opportunity for the global open source community and Korean innovators to open a new chapter together.”
