TTA Introduces Keysight 5G Conformance Test Solution


Keysight Technologies, Inc. announced on the 15th that Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), a domestic ICT testing and certification organization, selected Keysight’s 5G device test solution to provide internationally accredited testing and certification services for 5G NR (New Radio) radio frequency (RF) and radio resource management (RRM) conformance.

Keysight’s 5G conformance test solution offers the industry’s largest number of RF and protocol test cases validated against the 3GPP’s 5G NR specifications and the broadest support for test cases across frequency band combinations.

Additionally, Keysight’s 5G network emulation solutions support regulatory, compliance and performance testing of 5G devices. Keysight addresses global test requirements mandated by certification forums such as CTIA, PTCRB, GCF, and mobile operators on a single solution platform.

“Keysight is supporting all the major mobile operators, test and certification organizations and device manufacturers driving the Korean 5G market,” said Kailash Narayanan, vice president and general manager of Keysight’s wireless test group.

“TTA can now provide internationally accredited testing and certification services to the domestic 5G device industry ecosystem by utilizing Keysight’s 5G test solutions early,” said Lee Shim-seok, head of TTA’s Next Generation Mobile Communications Division. “TTA’s market competitiveness is based on partnerships with global standardization organizations and testing and certification forums that lead the development of mobile communication technology standards.”

Meanwhile, TTA has established a 5G RRM and performance suitability test solution as part of the ICT Innovation Leading Research Infrastructure Construction Project conducted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency to support domestic 5G terminal manufacturers.
