OTAC technology and marketability recognized

Sensenstone (CEO Changhoon Yoo), a company specializing in authentication security, has successfully attracted new investment from KDB Industrial Bank, gaining recognition for its technological prowess and marketability in the security market.
Senstone announced that it has attracted a new investment of 5 billion won with the highest corporate value among domestic security startups, in recognition of the technological prowess and marketability of 'OTAC (One-Time Authentication Code),' the world's first one-way dynamic authentication technology, from KDB Industrial Bank.
With this investment as a stepping stone, Sensestone plans to further accelerate its global market conquest, focusing on the finance, telecommunications, and Internet of Things (IoT) industries where demand for next-generation authentication security technology is high, by emphasizing the strong security and convenience of OTAC technology.
This investment is expected to serve as a solid foundation for Senstone, which has recently been accelerating its entry into the global market with its card-tagging mobile OTP, as the need for verified user and device authentication security solutions is growing amid the spread of digital transformation worldwide.
Senstone has been making remarkable progress recently. Since supplying a card-tagged mobile OTP for high-value remittances to Toss Bank in the second half of last year, interest from domestic financial institutions, public institutions, and general companies has grown significantly, and active discussions are currently ongoing with many customers. In addition, through active external promotion through overseas exhibitions, it is leading to in-depth discussions not only in Asia but also in Europe and the Americas.
In particular, its status in the global market is gradually rising, as it has been consistently ranked as the best startup at recent global business awards. Senstone's global headquarters, swIDch, was selected as the 'Security Services Startup of the Year' at the 18th Cyber Security Global Excellence Awards in March, followed by the 'Security Software Startup of the Year' at the 17th Annual 2022 Information Technology World Awards in April and the 'Security Software Startup of the Year' at the 14th Annual 2022 Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards in May.
CEO Yoo Chang-hoon of SensenStone stated, “Since its founding, SensenStone has been pioneering ‘an entirely new market that no one has ever ventured into’ both domestically and internationally, against the prejudice that ‘this technology is absolutely impossible to achieve’” and “With this investment, we have gained a strong sponsor and support group. We will continue to increase innovative cases by actively discovering industries and markets around the world that we had to give up on due to the limitations of existing authentication security technologies.”
