KAIST Kim Jae-chul AI Graduate School, Korea's first AI practical course begins

KAIST Kim Jae-chul AI Graduate School is taking the lead in fostering capable leaders who will be responsible for the introduction and utilization of AI in companies by opening the first 'CAIO (Chief AI Officer) Course'.


KAIST Kim Jae-chul AI Graduate School announced that it will begin the 'CAIO (Chief AI Officer) Course', the first of its kind in Korea, on April 12th.

The 'CAIO (Chief AI Officer) Course' curriculum includes the latest AI technology in its entirety, including computer vision, natural language processing, generative models, reinforcement learning, time series data prediction, explainable artificial intelligence, next-generation AI semiconductors, model lightweighting, graph neural networks, intelligent robotics, and strong artificial intelligence.

KAIST Kim Jae-cheol AI Graduate School is 'CAIO (Chief AI Officer)) said that the world's best current professors will present in-depth AI technologies and use cases and provide close consulting to individual students to help them plan and carry out AI businesses.

Students will have time to present and discuss in groups about corporate AI adoption and problem-solving methods.

Naver Clova's leader Seong Nak-ho, Professor Hwang Eui-jong of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering who has five years of experience working at Google Research, and Upstage CEO Kim Seong-hun said that they have improved the completeness of the curriculum by reflecting real-life cases of introducing and utilizing artificial intelligence in companies in their lectures.

Meanwhile, this course will start on April 12 and run for a total of 12 weeks until June 28, every Tuesday and Friday from 7 PM to 10 PM in the CAIO dedicated lecture room in the KAIST Dogok Campus. The program has approximately 60 students, and applications will be accepted until April 7.
