SKT provides data services in the form of intermediate goods that make service development easy for customers through the data platform 'Geovision Puzzle', which provides various statistical data on residence, movement, and stay.

SKT released the data platform 'Geovision Puzzle' on the 5th. 'Geovision Puzzle' was created to make it easier to utilize data related to population residence, movement, and stay based on big data and data analysis know-how accumulated over 13 years through SKT's big data analysis service 'Geovision'. 'Geovision Puzzle' consists of 'Map View' and 'Data Catalog'.

'Map View' shows congestion levels in a grid format on the map based on real-time floating population data, and also provides statistical data related to congestion levels in specific buildings or locations such as department stores, subways, shopping centers, and theme parks.

'Data Catalog' provides various analysis data related to people's movement, residence, and stay. Based on SKT's base station data, it combines public data such as Statistics Korea to provide floating population data in a specific area. By combining SKT's base station and Wi-Fi data with subway operation information, it is possible to calculate congestion information.

SKT provides data in the form of an API (Application Programming Interface). The data is provided in a form similar to a meal kit, allowing organizations and companies to easily utilize the data. He added that he plans to disclose good use cases of data accumulated through collaboration with companies through the 'Geovision Puzzle' homepage.

Meanwhile, SKT announced that it plans to diversify the types of data so that ordinary people can also obtain useful information based on big data in the future.
