Nota (CEO Myung-soo Chae), a company specializing in artificial intelligence lightweighting and optimization technology, is preparing for a KOSDAQ listing, powered by Netpresso-based technology and explosive growth.

Nata AI has officially entered the KOSDAQ listing process by submitting a securities report to the Financial Services Commission on the 21st. Amid the recent contraction in the IPO market, this unusual move is drawing attention from the industry.

Through this listing, Nota will offer a total of 2,916,000 shares, with the desired offering price being 7,600 to 9,100 won, and the expected offering amount being approximately 22.2 billion to 26.5 billion won.

Demand forecasting for institutional investors will be conducted from September 12th to 18th, and general subscription will be conducted from September 23rd to 24th. Mirae Asset Securities is the lead underwriter for the listing.

Founded in 2015, Nota provides technology that enables efficient operation of high-performance AI models on edge devices based on its proprietary AI model optimization platform, NetsPresso®.

By automating complex model optimization and deployment processes, we have reduced development costs and achieved numerous commercialization results through collaborations with global semiconductor companies such as NVIDIA, Samsung Electronics, Qualcomm, and Sony.

In particular, Nota is the first company in Korea to commercialize the generative AI-based intelligent video control solution, Nota Vision Agent (NVA), and is supplying it to various fields such as industrial safety, ITS, and retail.

In April of this year, a supply contract was signed with the Dubai Transport Authority of the UAE, and in July, application was completed at Kolon Industries' Gimcheon 2 plant, proving its technological competitiveness.

Nota's sales growth is also remarkable. It is projected to grow rapidly from KRW 480 million in 2021 to KRW 8.44 billion in 2024, representing an average annual growth rate of 159.7% over the past four years. It is assessed that the technology-based revenue model has entered a stable orbit.

CEO Cha Myung-soo stated, “Amidst the recent contraction in the IPO market and the strengthening of listing review standards, the fact that we have submitted the securities report as planned demonstrates our proven profitability and growth vision.” He added, “We will strategically invest the funds secured through this IPO in technological advancement and global business expansion.”

Nota established a foundation for global expansion by establishing local corporations in Berlin, Germany in 2020 and Sunnyvale, USA in 2022, and is rapidly expanding into key markets such as the Middle East, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

This year, the company's technological competitiveness was recognized by being named one of CB Insights' "100 Global Innovative AI Startups."

Meanwhile, Nota has been selected as one of the five final teams for the Ministry of Science and ICT's 'National AI' development project, and is also accelerating efforts to secure its own AI foundation model.
