LG Electronics is providing new value to customers by launching AI-based laundry appliances that can be selected to suit their diverse lifestyles.

LG Electronics announced on the 30th that it will be launching four new AI-based laundry appliances, including the Tromm AI washing machine (25 kg), the Tromm AI dryer (25 kg), the Tromm AI Object Collection Wash Tower (washing and drying 23 kg), and the Tromm AI Wash Combo Compact (washing 11 kg and drying 6 kg).

The AI Wash Tower, in particular, boasts a 23kg washing and drying capacity, allowing even large loads of laundry to be conveniently transferred to the dryer without the need for separate washing. The 7-inch display enhances operability and information visibility. The AI Wash Combo Compact is ideal for single- or two-person households or tight spaces, and its smaller size compared to previous models allows installation in studio apartments or multipurpose rooms. Adding a mini washer (2.5kg) at the bottom allows for separate washing of underwear and delicate items, further enhancing its usability.

The AI washing machine and dryer boast a 25kg capacity, the largest in Korea, making it easy to handle even bulky loads like winter blankets. The "Smart On" feature automatically turns the machine on when the door is closed, reducing the hassle of operation. The colors include taupe and almond, so you can choose from the existing essence white, green, beige, black, and modern stainless steel to match your interior.

The new product features LG Electronics' "AI DD Motor," which combines core component technology with AI. It detects the material, soiling level, and load of laundry, then selects the optimal motion among six modes to minimize fabric damage and perform washing and drying. Furthermore, the "AI Time Sensing" function determines the load within approximately three seconds of loading and provides an estimated time. The "AI Time Guidance" function, on the other hand, provides increasingly accurate estimates of drying time based on the user's environment.

All of these new products are rated 1st in energy efficiency and are eligible for the "Top Efficiency Appliance Rebate." The factory prices are 2.49 million won for the AI Wash Combo Compact, 2.1 million won for the AI Washing Machine, 2.44 million won for the AI Dryer, and 4.44 million won for the AI Wash Tower.
