25 member companies, 80,000 people... Innovating work methods with industry-specific AI.
SK Group is embarking on a full-scale business innovation with industry-specific AI.
SK Telecom will expand the implementation of "A. Biz," an AI business agent jointly developed with SK AX, to 25 SK Group member companies by the end of this year. This expansion is expected to allow approximately 80,000 employees to experience AI-based business innovation firsthand.
Adot Biz is SKT's B2B AI solution, supporting repetitive, everyday tasks like information retrieval, schedule management, and meeting minutes, as well as specialized areas like recruiting. Users can utilize the "One-Stop" feature, which automatically executes related tasks by entering a task request in natural language.
SKT introduced the 'Agent Builder' and 'Agent Store' functions so that even members without IT knowledge can easily create and share AI agents. For example, HR managers can create their own agent to answer frequently asked questions about personnel systems and distribute it throughout the company.
A closed beta test (CBT) conducted internally at SKT and SK AX in the first half of the year demonstrated significant improvements in Adot Biz's performance. Specifically, the time it took to write meeting minutes was reduced by 60%, and report writing time was reduced by nearly 40%, demonstrating improved work efficiency.
Since its official launch at the end of June, Adot Biz has been initially introduced to seven companies, including SK Discovery, SK Gas, SK Networks, SK D&D, SK Bioscience, SK Broadband, and SK Chemicals, and is expected to be expanded to the entire group, including SK Hynix and SK Innovation, by the end of the year.
SKT is improving the functionality and quality of Adot Biz to suit diverse industries, including telecommunications, IT, manufacturing, and petrochemicals. To enhance security, the company is applying its proprietary Large Language Model (LLM) "Adot AX" and industry-specific AI technologies. In particular, companies possessing key national technologies, such as SK Hynix (semiconductors), SK On (batteries), and SK Siltron (materials), will be provided with an advanced security environment.
SKT expects that this introduction will strengthen the AI utilization capabilities of the SK Group as a whole and bring about fundamental changes in the way people work.
Kwon Beom-jun, head of SKT's AI Work Business Division, said, "Adot Biz is an AI work tool that anyone can use, even without technical knowledge," and added, "We will continue to strengthen stability and security through industry-specific applications."
