Sky Intelligence is partnering with ABB Robotics to build a physical AI verification infrastructure for industrial robot environments. This marks a case where a domestic synthetic data company connects the simulation platform and data generation technology of a global robot company to verify the applicability of manufacturing sites.

Sky Intelligence announced on the 10th that it has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with ABB Robotics. The two companies will combine ABB's RobotStudio with Sky Intelligence's ultra-precision synthetic data generation technology to promote the verification and expanded adoption of physical AI in industrial and manufacturing environments.

ABB is one of the leading companies in the global industrial robot market. ABB’s RobotStudio is a platform used for offline robot programming and simulation, enabling the pre-verification of robot movements and processes in a virtual environment.

In this collaboration, Sky Intelligence applies its synthetic data generation pipeline to the ABB robot environment. The two companies plan to verify, using an ABB robot arm workstation, whether physical AI trained on synthetic data can deliver precise performance in actual manufacturing environments.

The scope of cooperation includes physical AI research and development, training, testing, verification, and proof of concept (PoC). Both companies will also jointly conduct technology exchange, develop simulation scenarios, and evaluate synthetic data generation workflows.

This collaboration is characterized by opening up possibilities for product integration, customer projects, and joint market entry, going beyond mere technology demonstration. This is because the application of physical AI in industrial settings requires the simultaneous establishment of robot platforms, data infrastructure, and verification environments.

As an official NVIDIA ISV partner, Sky Intelligence is utilizing Omniverse-based digital twin technology to implement industrial site structures, robot movement paths, and physics-based simulations. ABB Robotics is also expanding its robot software ecosystem by combining industrial robots with AI and next-generation computing.

Both companies plan to gradually build a physical AI infrastructure applicable to industrial manufacturing processes and expand the scope of cooperation through product integration, customer projects, and joint market entry.
