Mouser Unveils Latest EIT Issue Covering Humanoid Robot Technology

Mouser Electronics has released technical content covering core design technologies for humanoid robots and trends in industrial application. As robots expand into various fields such as industrial automation, caregiving, and education, the content is characterized by addressing key challenges from an engineering perspective, including system integration and changes in design methods.

Mouser Electronics announced on the 15th the release of the latest issue of its "Innovation Together (EIT)" series, themed "Rise of the Robots." This content explains the trends in the utilization of humanoid robots in real-world industrial, medical, and high-risk environments, based on technological advancements in sensing, actuation, artificial intelligence (AI), embedded computing, and power systems.

This series covers the process of robots being utilized in various industries beyond simple devices, along with key engineering elements. In particular, the explanation focuses on multimodal cognition and real-time control technologies, physical AI approaches such as simulation-based learning, system integration and utilization of existing infrastructure, and factors considering safety and return on investment (ROI).

Currently, some robot systems are at a stage where human supervision is required, but the related technology is said to serve as the foundation for the development of collaborative robots capable of human-like interaction.

Mouser explained that through this series, they focused on providing resources that can serve as a reference for engineers to understand the changing design environment.

The series also includes the podcast "The Tech Between Us." The program discusses the role of robots in industrial settings and technologies for creating human-like facial expressions, and introduces the development process of the humanoid robot "Ameca."

In addition, this EIT series covers a wide range of use cases for AI and robots through in-depth technical videos, technical articles, infographics, and subscriber-exclusive content.
