DigiKey, a global distributor of electronic components and automation products, added nearly 10,000 new products and 104 suppliers in the first quarter, accelerating industry growth by providing engineers with the components and solutions they want.

Digi-Key announced that it significantly expanded its product portfolio by adding 98,320 new products (NPIs) and 104 new suppliers during the first quarter of 2025.

Digi-Key continues to expand its product line to provide engineers and developers around the world with the widest range of components they need, and the company said the expansion was a major accomplishment based on strong customer activity this quarter.

“We are continually adding cutting-edge suppliers and products to provide engineers and innovators with all the components and solutions they need,” said Mike Slater, Digi-Key’s vice president of global business development. “This expansion in the first three months of this year has been driven by customer activity and demand, and we look forward to adding even more new products and suppliers in the future.”

The addition of these new suppliers allows Digi-Key to support a wider range of industries.

For example, Cookiecad is a company that produces 3D printing filaments in various colors and materials, and DB Products is a company that produces microphones, transducers, etc.We are a manufacturer of drivers and receivers.

Additionally, Electro Terminal provides drivers and electromechanical solutions for lighting applications, while MinewSemi manufactures IoT wireless connectivity modules for use in a variety of fields including smart buildings, smart agriculture, and consumer electronics.
