Avnet Korea is leading the development of AI by unveiling cutting-edge AI solutions at AI Expo Korea 2025.

Avnet Korea announced on the 29th that it will participate in AI Expo Korea 2025, held at COEX in Seoul from May 14th to 16th, in cooperation with major global companies such as AMD, NXP, Renesas, and AAEON, to showcase AI infrastructure and platform technologies.

In particular, we will focus on strengthening Korea's AI ecosystem and provide innovative technologies and solutions that can promote the use of AI in various industries.

Recently, the Korean government announced a plan to invest 7 billion dollars in AI research and development (R&D) by 2027, thereby starting to foster the AI industry in earnest. Accordingly, commercialization and research of AI technology are expected to progress rapidly, and companies' adoption of AI is also expected to become more active.

Through its participation in AI Expo Korea 2025, Avnet aims to solidify its position as a global technology distribution and solution provider that supports customers throughout the entire process from concept to production.

According to an Avnet Insights survey conducted by Avnet, 75% of engineers assessed that market conditions are improving, and 42% responded that they are already integrating AI into their designs.

In particular, Chinese engineers' AI utilization rate reached 66%, and they were found to be leading the trend of AI design.

The survey also identified key challenges that hinder the adoption of AI. Security and privacy (37%) and data quality (31%) were cited as factors hindering the spread of AI, and Avnet Korea will introduce AI implementation solutions that solve these problems at the expo.

Avnet Korea will showcase the latest AI technologies with its design service team and global partners at AI Expo Korea 2025.

Here are some of the major solutions to be introduced at this exhibition: △ Demos of AI solutions such as vehicle license plate recognition, hand landmark detection, and fish population measurement based on Renesas, NXP, and AMD by Avnet Design Services △ Autonomous driving and embedded system solutions utilizing AMD Versal™ AI Edge adaptive SoC △ AI object recognition solution based on NXP i.MX 95 application processor △ Disclosure of AAEON's AMD Ryzen V2000-based embedded system and next-generation AI semiconductor technology in collaboration with DEEPX △ Announcement of Renesas' RA8D1-based vision AI and RA4E1 voice recognition technology.
