Asung Korea, a specialized distributor of electronic components and semiconductor technology, celebrated its 33rd anniversary by engaging in social contribution activities with its employees and practicing the values of sustainable management. Beyond mere celebration, this event was designed with two core goals in mind: promoting employee mental health and contributing to the community.

On the 1st, Asung Korea invited Professor Daehyun Yoon of the Department of Psychiatry at Seoul National University Hospital to give a lecture titled, “Please hug my heart first” at the Asung Group headquarters in Daechi-dong, Seoul.

In his lecture, Professor Yoon emphasized the importance of stress management and strengthening resilience in office workers, saying, “Looking into your own mind first is the starting point for creating a healthy organizational culture.”

This lecture is being evaluated as having contributed to increasing psychological safety and emotional bonding within the organization by providing employees with an opportunity to recognize and care for their own emotions.

In the afternoon of the same day, employees participated in a plogging activity in the Yangjae Stream area of Seoul.

Plogging is an environmental movement that involves picking up trash while jogging. Participants collect trash around their workplaces and help clean up the local environment.

An official from Asung Korea stated, “Instead of simply celebrating the anniversary, we practiced two values: the mental health of our employees and contribution to the local community,” and added, “We plan to continue various activities to protect the environment and fulfill our social responsibility in the future.”
