Amid growing power and cost burdens on AI infrastructure, NeoLogic, an Israeli semiconductor fabless company that developed technology to utilize CPUs for AI inference, has joined the World Economic Forum (WEF)'s list of global innovative companies.

NeoLogic announced on the 24th that it was selected as one of the '2026 Technology Pioneers' announced on June 10 by the World Economic Forum (WEF), headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

Technology Pioneer is a global innovator program that started in 2000, and this year, 100 companies from 23 countries around the world were selected.

Past selected companies include Google (2002), Slack (2016), and the Korean medical AI company Lunit (2020).

The WEF cited the rise of the AI infrastructure layer and the convergence of energy and computing as characteristics of this year's selected companies.

The explanation is that as the demand for generative and agent-based AI increases, the challenges for AI infrastructure are expanding beyond computational performance to reduce inference costs and the burden of power and cooling.

NeoLogic has developed server CPU technology designed to efficiently utilize CPUs for AI inference.

The key is the patent-pending chip design technology 'CMOS+', which adds a new circuit structure and microarchitecture to existing CMOS circuits.

The company stated that it aims to reduce AI inference costs by up to 1/100th compared to GPU-based inference and increase power efficiency by up to 10 times through this.

They also explained that the role of the CPU is expected to grow in the era of agent-based AI, which performs tasks that are difficult for GPUs to handle, such as web search, file and database processing, and code execution.

Dr. Avi Messica, CEO of NeoLogic, stated, “As AI spreads across industries, the economic viability and sustainability of AI infrastructure will become critical issues,” adding that “we are presenting a new approach at the CPU and basic circuit level.”

In June of the same year, NeoLogic was selected as one of the 15 innovative startups in the Israeli delegation to VivaTech 2026 and for EE Times' 'Silicon 100' (2024·2025), and in May, it introduced its first AI server CPU product at the TSMC Europe Technology Symposium.

NeoLogic, founded in Netanya, Israel in 2021, has attracted $16 million in investment to date and is preparing for the mass production of its first product.
