'One UI 4' launched, change to your desired style
Samsung Electronics' 'Galaxy Watch 4' features can now be used on previous versions as well.
Samsung Electronics implemented a software update on the 15th to provide Galaxy users with a new smart device experience.
This update was divided into two parts: △ Official launch of 'One UI 4' which provides an improved mobile environment, and △ Expanding the application of the Galaxy Watch 4's latest features to previous versions of the product.
“We are committed to providing the best possible mobile experience to as many people as possible,” said Yoon Jang-hyun, executive vice president of Samsung Electronics’ wireless business. “We will continue to work to ensure that not only smartphone users but also tablet users can experience more seamless connectivity within the Galaxy ecosystem.”
The newly introduced 'One UI 4' is characterized by providing an improved mobile environment with new user options, enhanced privacy protection features, and expanded accessibility to the Galaxy ecosystem.
'One UI 4' was applied to the 'Galaxy S21 series' starting from Korea, the US, and Europe on the 15th, and will be sequentially expanded to the 'Galaxy Z series', 'Galaxy S series', 'Galaxy Note series', tablets, etc. along with the application regions.
/> 'One UI 4' users can easily change the home screen, icons, notifications, wallpapers, etc. to their desired style using a completely new color palette.
Additionally, widgets with enhanced user customization features allow you to customize the design and display information to your own style.
Additionally, privacy/personal information protection features have been enhanced to allow users to easily and accurately choose what to share and what to keep private.
It also notifies you immediately when an app accesses your camera or microphone, and allows you to easily manage and monitor your privacy settings through the 'Privacy Dashboard'.
Along with this, Samsung Electronics also implemented software updates for the existing ‘Galaxy Watch series’ including the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2, and Galaxy Watch3.
Accordingly, users of these models can now also take advantage of the latest features applied to the recently released 'Galaxy Watch 4'. The update will be applied starting with Korea and the United States, and will expand to other regions sequentially.
