Samsung Electronics swept the iF Design Awards again this year with AI-based innovation and environmentally conscious design.
Samsung Electronics won a total of 58 awards, including two gold awards, at the international design competition 'iF Design Award 2025' held in Germany.
This competition was started in 1953 by the International Forum in Germany, and the winners are selected based on their distinctiveness and influence in nine categories, including product, packaging, user experience (UX), interface (UI), concept, communication, and service design.
Samsung Electronics won the gold award for its home AI companion robot 'Ballie' and its package design for a small portable projector, 'BOJAGI'.
Bolly is a robot that learns the user's lifestyle patterns based on artificial intelligence (AI) and performs various functions such as schedule management and home appliance control. It is characterized by a friendly design that makes eye contact and greets the user.
Additionally, Bojagi was inspired by a traditional Korean tool called bojagi and completed a sustainable package design using scrap fabric.
In addition, Samsung Electronics has been recognized for the excellent design of various products.
All-in-one washer/dryer &lsThe 'Bespoke AI Combo', the ultra-compact wearable 'Galaxy Ring', and the 'Neo QLED 8K' with maximized immersion were selected as excellent designs.
Also, the 'Foldable Galaxy AI UX', which supports real-time communication using dual screens, and the 'Bespoke Refrigerator UX', which provides a smart kitchen experience, were named as award winners.
