Wattsmatter participated in 'NextCon 2025' held at COEX from July 30th to August 2nd.
At this event, WattsMatter will showcase a wide range of smart home products based on 'Matter', the global smart home interconnection standard.
At this exhibition, which is linked to '2025 Korea Build', Watts Matter will showcase its smart home technology and future vision by unveiling more than 10 types of devices, including △PIR+mmWave composite occupancy sensors △smart electric curtains and electric blinds △1-4 hole lighting switches △door opening, temperature and humidity, smoke detection, and CO sensors scheduled to be released in the second half of the year.
All products are KC certified and fully support the Matter standard, which includes Samsung Electronics, Apple, and Google.
In particular, WattsMatter currently has six products and software certified by Matter, with plans to expand this to a total of 12 by the end of the year.
This allows users to build a complete smart home system using only the Wattsmatter product line.
This exhibition will focus on the information and communication industryThe on-device AI Matter Hub, equipped with a small-scale language model (sLM) developed with support from the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (NIA), will also be demonstrated.
This hub has the advantage of privacy and security as it allows you to control devices with your voice even without the internet.
A natural language-based voice control function has also been implemented, especially for middle-aged and older people who are not familiar with using digital devices.
Starting in August, we will conduct a verification project in cooperation with Hyodol, DeepX, and others, and plan to verify intelligent home functions centered on daily life, such as medication confirmation, targeting over 100 households.
Wattsmatter is also pursuing collaborations with companies in the smart office, smart store, and modular housing sectors through this exhibition.
CEO Kim Hak-yong stated, “We are currently discussing the development of our own smart home platform with three operators,” and “Through this exhibition, we will create opportunities for mutual growth with various partners.”
During the event, there will also be an on-site promotion where you can purchase some popular products at up to 47% off at the Watts Matter online shopping mall 'Modus Home'.
