Expanding AI and connectivity experiences centered on S26… XR, Tri-Fold, network, and security technologies also unveiled
At the MWC Barcelona 2026 exhibition held in Barcelona, Spain, Samsung Electronics put 'Galaxy AI' front and center and demonstrated how AI applications are expanded beyond smartphones to a connected experience across all Galaxy devices.
MWC Barcelona 2026 took place from March 2 to 5 (local time) at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. Samsung Electronics announced that it had set up a 1,745 square meter exhibition booth during the event, designed to allow visitors to explore it in an interactive manner.
The 'Galaxy S26 series' was placed at the center of the exhibition. Samsung Electronics explained that it arranged the display in a way that demonstrates AI features, which help the device understand usage context to assist with tasks, aligned with the flow of daily use.
An exhibition emphasizing inter-device connectivity was also prepared. The company stated that it presented usage scenarios where the audio experience and productivity tasks flow together by displaying the 'Galaxy Buds 4 series' and 'Galaxy Book 6 series' together.
In addition, personalized health experiences and next-generation form factors such as the 'Galaxy XR' and 'Galaxy Z Tri-Fold' were introduced. Samsung Electronics announced that it also unveiled AI-based network innovation technologies and technologies related to security and privacy.
