MOU signed on-site in San Francisco
Offensive cybersecurity firm Theori and fintech security firm Aton have joined forces to target the AI-based software security inspection market. The two companies plan to expand their business scope beyond the domestic market into the global enterprise market by leveraging their code analysis security solutions.
Aton and Theory announced on the 27th that they signed a strategic business agreement at the RSAC 2026 cybersecurity conference held in San Francisco, USA. At the heart of this agreement is 'Xint Code,' an AI-based static application security inspection tool developed by Theory.
Moving forward, the two companies plan to jointly pursue global marketing and market expansion for this product. While Teori possesses strengths in technology development and product enhancement, Aton is structured to expand corporate customer touchpoints by leveraging the network established through its existing businesses. This can be interpreted as a strategy to enter overseas markets by dividing roles between a technology company and a business partner.
Zint Code is a SAST solution that finds vulnerabilities by analyzing the structure and context of source code based on a Large Language Model (LLM). Unlike existing automation tools that simply detect problems based on fixed rules, it focuses on identifying vulnerabilities with a high actual risk potential by examining the code design intent and flow. Theori explained that this solution can perform a full analysis of millions of lines of source code within 12 hours.
This collaboration aligns with corporate demand to identify security vulnerabilities early during the development phase, amidst the acceleration of software development driven by the proliferation of generative AI. As the trend shifts toward reducing risk factors during the code writing and inspection stages rather than responding after development intensifies, the scope of application for AI-based code security tools is expanding.
Theory has been providing security consulting to domestic and international companies and organizations, including Google, Microsoft, Octa, and Samsung Electronics, and also operates the LLM security solution 'AlphaPrism' and the cybersecurity education platform 'DreamHack'. Attention is focused on whether this agreement will lead to actual overseas business results through the combination of Theory, a technology-focused company, and Aton, which possesses a business network.
