Topic: 'AI Engineering for Daily Life'
A series focusing on how artificial intelligence is permeating consumer devices and digital services to transform the living experience has been released, and it is expected to enhance understanding of AI technology.
Mouser Electronics, a global electronic components distributor, announced 'AI Engineering for Daily Life' as the first theme of its 2026 'Empowering Innovation Together (EIT)' series.
Mouser explains that AI is establishing itself as a core function in various fields, such as search tools, messaging services, and healthcare wearables.
Accordingly, engineers are focusing on designing AI systems applied to actual products to be more intuitive and reliable, and technical approaches that maintain user control and privacy are becoming increasingly important.
Jeff Newell, Senior Vice President at Mouser Electronics, emphasized, “AI is no longer an experimental technology but a technology at the center of everyday products,” adding, “As engineers determine how AI is used, design that considers stability and complementary expertise is essential.”
He added that this series will provide the insights and practical resources needed to develop next-generation AI-based solutions.
AI-based platforms are already demonstrating various possibilities.
Users can automatically organize travel itineraries through conversation or view health data in greater depth via connected devices.
Amid these changes, engineers are focusing on developing systems that simultaneously satisfy the provision of transparent results, protection of personal information, and enhanced user judgment.
In the 'The Tech Between Us' podcast, one of the core contents of the EIT series, Raymond Yin, Technology Content Director at Mouser, and Dr. Marisa Tschopp of the Swiss security research institute scip AG have a conversation.
The two experts discuss extensively how AI is changing human interaction patterns and collaboration structures, as well as its potential applications in the field of mental health.
Director Raymond In stated, “AI is now naturally blending into everyday products,” adding, “This year’s first EIT series demonstrates the trend of technology expanding human capabilities and redefining the way of life.”
In addition to the podcast, this series introduces various real-world applications of AI through video content, technical analysis articles, infographics, and subscriber-exclusive materials. Through this, engineers can enhance their expertise by leveraging AI technology and explore ways to design user-centric, secure systems.
Mouser's EIT program, launched in 2015, is considered one of the most influential electronic component education platforms in the industry. Related materials can be found on Mouser's official website and social media channels.
